I was expecting, terribly expecting that one day someone will come and make my life complete. It's so tiring, as I patiently and eagerly wait for that someone who will change my life forever. I met the singer of this song, Mr. Ding Mercado in a chance encounter sometime in 1997 when both of us are on our plane trip to General Santos City for the then Special Economic Zone Asean Finance Ministers Meeting. Ding was the special performer for the gala night at that time. He was so amazed when I told him that I am a lover of the Somewhere in Time classic ballad as sung by Pat Castillo. It was when he sang that same song with different lyrics, that I got so enthusiastic and interested to know and have a copy of the exact lyrics. Ding was so accomodating and supportive of me since during the flight on our way back to Manila, he looked for a piece of scratch paper and patiently wrote down the words of the song by Mr. Freddie Santos.

A song by Nonoy Zuniga in a movie of the same title. Starring Richard Gomez and Hilda Koronel. The song is very moving and so heartwarming. Listening to it reminds me of somebody who promised loyalty and eternal love but in the end failed to keep his commitments.
